I wanted to get the doubledown when it first came out because it looked like a leap in American innovation, and I was here for it - except I wasn’t, and it went away. Finally, it came back, and I rushed out to get one. Now, it’s a fine sandwich, I just wish that KFC had better fried chicken. Also the breading on the inside of the sandwich gets very moist as the sandwich sits. However, the Chizza was pretty good! The sauce and cheese added to the chicken. I’d recommend trying the Chizza if you want KFC chicken.
The chicken sandwich was dry
I went in about 5pm on a Tuesday. Everything was perfectly fine. Then a big woman with dark pink hair about a half inch long came in and started bossing the employees for idk what. There was nothing wrong with them but she started telling them every single thing to do. Like they were in training on their first day. Totally unnecessary. I felt bad for them.
5 stars for Paulette with the pink hair. She went well out of her way to help me to figure out how to order one of the specials that were apparently only offered if ordering from online. She still managed to serve several customers with ease (as she was also helping me with the website glitch) that were coming through during the process. Otherwise, had I ordered the same box from the counter, it would have cost me $5 more! She went above and beyond what is considered good customer service. I can only imagine how any people that come through everyday with the same issue. Paulette is fantastic.
