Kemuri Tatsu-Ya

Food was excellent and had lots of flavor, but for the portions you get compared to the price you do get very little. If you’re super hungry, I’d recommend somewhere else. Otherwise the dishes are super delicious.

The food is fantastic. Unless you are an alcoholic or just want water, don't expect anything to dink, which takes away serious points. Back of the house is great. Front is lacking, severely This place is too pretentious for it's own good .

Awesome, awesome, awesome spot! Kemuri tatsu-ya hits everything - incredible food and service, and a fun atmosphere. Highly recommend the smoked tuna, the brisket (miso bbq sauce is insane) and the bbq eel. We also loved the edamame tossed in spices and beef tallow, and the hot pocketz (grilled cheese with tofu skin instead of bread and Gouda and brisket inside). Thoroughly enjoyed the Shiso Fresh cocktail, def going to attempt to copy it at home!

Interesting atmosphere and rather interesting selection of food. Be noted that plates are not as big as usually so choose 2-3 per person. Also beer glasses are small, like 250 ml.
