Katch Kitchen & Cocktails

The only item I ordered was the lobster bites which were WAY overseasoned! It lost all the sweetness of lobster and instead was salty. Did not enjoy.

My friends took me to Katch for my birthday. It was awesome. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. The lamb chops were amazing! Nia, our server was the absolute best. Five star food, service, and atmosphere.

Went out on a mommy’s night out by myself and had a great time! Went to Hudson Grille first and the service was awful at the bar. The bartender ignored me and was very rude. I politely went across the street to Katch and it was the best decision ever. The service was good (up until the guy at the door when I was leaving), food was good and the music was on point. Definitely could see this being a weekly try!

This place has great reviews and mine will probably be one of a few that is not, but I have to express my disappointment in how this establishment is being run. This place has great features inside and the concept of dinner with live music is a plus for sure. But the live music is extremely blasting loud and you aren't able to hear yourself, your company or anything the wait staff is saying, which in my opinion is a terrible way to entertain patrons. My out of town guest and I have never been there. Since I live in the Tucker area, I thought it would be a great place to try. However, I likely WON'T visit this place again. Sadly, it's seems when there is a high concentration of black patrons and wait staff, the flow of business is lacking and unprofessional. This can be so embarrassing since I'm black and want to support black establishment when possible. Thumbs all the way down on this place for me. It was not just the loud music. After we waited 40 minutes to be seated, hostess finally sat us at the bar. Only to have someone tell us we couldn't sit there. I threw my hands up and was prepared to walk out. Manager was called and I explained our frustrations with the unprofessional attitudes. We were brought to a different section of bar where the female bar staff couldn't hear my order and completely forgot to bring my guest's drink. I could go on and on, but I think I'd you've read this whole post, you get the point! Not trying to discourage anyone's visit but I will never go back to this place. Not worth the frustration especially when in spending hard earned coins!
