JPS Pancakes offers a breakfast experience that falls short in terms of value for money. While the pancakes themselves are delicious, the portions are disappointingly small always out of items, leaving patrons feeling unsatisfied. The pricing strategy seems more focused on maximizing profits rather than providing a generous dining experience. The atmosphere is pleasant, but the constant awareness of budget constraints among both customers and staff creates a less enjoyable dining environment. Overall, JPS Pancakes might be a tasty indulgence, but be prepared to feel like your pocket is being closely watched throughout your meal.

In my experience, what’s listed on the menu may not be what you get. I ordered the strawberry banana pancake cup and despite the signage and the truck itself stating that the pancakes would be topped with strawberry syrup, the worker insisted that the order did not come with syrup. If what comes with an order has changed, it might be a good idea to edit signage to reflect that.

misleading menu at their ACL booth when it came to gluten-free options. i ordered gluten-free oreo pancakes (and paid $3 extra for the gluten-free option) assuming the whole order would be gluten-free. that assumption was wrong; they use glutinous oreos with gluten-free pancake batter. i did not know this until after i started eating my order. when i voiced my concern at the booth about how the menu was labeled, the person who helped me essentially said that you can’t trust that most GF-labeled foods at the festival are truly GF, and you just have to know that somehow before you come. i hope in the future that they will inform people who order gluten-free which of their toppings have gluten Dietary restrictions: gluten-free proceed with caution

The guy, Gabe, who helped us tonight was super friendly and helpful and he made the most delicious pancake creation. We will definitely be coming back.
