Props to the server. She was the only one but seemed to handle it pretty well. It was somewhat busy. She was able to meet our needs without making us wait or anything considering the number of people there and the fact that she was the only server. The food here was decent. Got the curry tofu soup which was sort of unique. There isn't meat in it though. Soup was boiling hot. In fact, it was too hot because my egg yolk got cooked before I was able to get to it. Better then it not being hot enough. I hate it when my egg never cooks. Not the best that I have had but it wasn't bad. Bulgogi was ok. Same with the spicy chicken and banchans. Not necessarily impressed by the food or anything.
We had ginseng chicken and quite a few other dishes, the flavor is not spectacular. The ginseng chicken tasted like they just cooked the chicken in hot water, quite a disappointment. It's old the service was ok. Not the most authentic Korean food.
5 stars for service!! Staff was super attentive and quick & hardworking despite it being quite busy. Refilled our bonchons when it got empty without us asking, explained what different sauces/things were for. Food was pretty good. Ginseng chicken was a little bit dry for the chicken and lacking in ginseng, but this is in comparison to the ones I had in Korea. Tofu soup & seafood pancake were pretty good; had better elsewhere (not in the bay) but it does the job. Japchae was a little too elastic but had good taste! Slightly on the pricier end as well (tofu soup was $17.5)
Beef tofu stew, I don’t know if people don’t like meat, I got very tiny pieces of beef, 5 pieces total. Prices are so high. They can totally rob me but still gave me “food”
