They are always busy. Even if you call in your order and get texted that it is ready, be prepared to wait 15 - 30 minutes more. Always check your bag before you leave because you will be missing sauces
Goat Roti is really good. I recommend dine in the restaurant has a really good vibe.
The only place in south Florida where I am able to find consistent, authentic, REAL Indo-Caribbean food. My family and I are Indo-Surinamese and have been frequenting this place for many years (since my childhood) and Joy’s has never failed to deliver! We guarantee that this food is practically identical to our cuisine (i.e. Indo-Caribbean, Indo-Trini, Indo-Surinamese, Indo-Guyanese). Tastes exactly like a real, home-cooked meal back home. So happy this place exists and may it always remain so!
My first time going to Joy's after hearing such great things about the restaurant. I ordered a boneless chicken roti and a Sorrel for the drink. The total came out to $22.38 including the tip. The sorrel was great one of the best I've had and not water down at all. But the chicken roti failed mainly because I could taste that someone in the kitchen burned the chicken during the cooking process and rather than wasting product salavgeit like one would do at home. The roti itself was ok though I've had much better. Service was ok. There really wasn't much people inside but there was the old Trini gang hanging out front.
