Johnny Pies NY Pizzeria

This place is absolutely amazing. The best NY pizza in Florida by far. Perfect crust on the right point, great cheese and the flavors are wonderful. The chicken bacon ranch is out of this world. Definitely worth going and even better trying different flavors by buying by the slice.

Very disappointed I used to go to this place a lot. Unfortunately they will never receive my business ever again. I was eating here last Thursday when I found a dead roach under a slice of vegetarian pizza I had. Very unsanitary & disgusting.

I lived in NYC for 30 years before moving to South Florida in 2020. The quality of pizza down here has been disappointing to the point where I gave up. I happened upon this place because I work at the jail down the street. The pie is my favorite down here by far! Great flavors in the sauce and a great crust. But I have had the same issue TWICE now. I hate very hot pizza. To me hot pizza is like hot lasagna and the flavors need time to meld together without the steam. Also, my mouth is sensitive to the heat. I let this be known clearly by saying "not too hot". The first time I accepted partial blame bc the guy at the oven said "I'm waiting for a fresh pie." To me I know that means "sauce and mozzeralla soup" but I accepted it. I wound up boxing it and giving it away to a teenager outside becuase I only hava a limited time for lunch and can't wait 30 minutes for pizza to reach ideal temperature. So yesterday I asked for 2 pepperoni. Not only did they make the wrong pizza, but when the guy- who I had never seen before- took the proper slices, I reiterated "just warm, not hot". 5 minutes went by and I was served what looked like cheese and pepperoni sauce on top of crust. I immediately asked the girl to box it, complained that it was too hot. It was placed in a box, no "sorry about that" or anything. I offered it to a customer sitting there. I eventually put it on the table outside in case maybe a homeless or poor person wanted it. This won't happen a third time. And btw it wasn't busy- only 2 other customers were in there. So 4-5 starts for great pizza, but that doesn't matter if it isn't served the way I like it, especially as a regular who has been telling everyone about them.

DELICIOUS pizza! My daughter said she's saving the receipt to remember the "best pizza in this world" Love that they sell by the slice. The white pizza was sooo yummy. Friendly service. So glad we tried it out!

First time in Johnnys. Very pleasant staff. I was surprised that they had grandmas, and Sicilian pizza! I was also amazed that they make orangini (rice ball) as you usually have to go to New York to get that! I did order the orangini and it was amazing. My wife and I also ordered a regular cheese slice and it was very good and could tell the cheese was high quality mozzarella. Overall, I would give the pizza an 8 on a 10 scale. I’m a true New Yorker so I don’t give out 10’s to easily. Great little take our place that I would recommend anyone to go have some authentic NY style Italian food. Scott P

NAILS !!! I work at Publix next door and have eaten there 100x over the last 2 years and have NEVER had a bad meal. I mean, I have gone through the menu I tried to order from lane 5 check out last night and kept getting busy too which I couldn't. Close to closing and haven't eaten since my day job at 11:30am. An Angel came through my lane that works there and them being closed already, when I explained how much I Love the food and was trying to order, SHE BROUGHT ME A SLICE !!! Are you kidding me!!! People, That Speaks Volumes. Go get some great food and tell them Cecil sent you. Much Love and Respect my Angel
