Fabulous food, and Sol at the counter was awesome!
I feel that everyone is always talking about JewBoy Burgers (which is fantastic, don't get me wrong!) but I definitely think JewBoy Sub Shop really deserves some love too! Every time I've gone it's been absolutely amazing. Everything has tasted divine, and the place has really satisfied my Philly cheesesteak cravings—and there's not many options in Austin! The staff is always super friendly and the inside has a really one-of-a-kind interior. Owner Mo Pittle has always reflected his unique background in his restaurants, and the result is consistently cool decor. I really recommend everything on their menu. But specific highlights for me would be the OG Philly, the meatballs, and the falafel! Want to add that the bread rolls they use for the subs is the greatest I've ever had. Take that for what it's worth! Vegetarian options: Two vegetarian options! Obviously not expansive but they are there. Parking: There is free parking on the first floor the garage adjacent to the restaurant. I imagine it can be tough during peak hours, but I've never had an issue finding parking there.
I don't do 5 stars often I am picky as can be. THat being said this is the spot. Austin atmosphere , friendly service Great food. The cost is a bit more then some other sub spots but the diference is worth it.
This place just gets it. Hands down the best sandwich I’ve had in the Austin area. I had the Reuben and was absolutely blown away. I now intend to try everything on their menu. Fries are to die for. A+
Big sandwiches, good value for price. Will definitely eat there again.
