This is by far my favorite Jamaican restaurant! I have tried other Jamaican restaurants in and around the area, but I keep coming back to Jameric International Cuisine. I am from Jamaica myself & the taste of the food here and the atmosphere takes me back to Jamica every time . I would highly recommend!

Had an okay-ish experience at Jameric for lunch earlier today. The food I did get was quite tasty (brown stew chicken, collards, white rice) but the stuff they were out of made me deeply sad. We showed up around 12:30p for lunch — no patties at all, no jerk pork (the Friday special), and perhaps the most egregious… no rice and peas! Truly soul crushing :( Also the first time I’ve ever had undercooked plantains, they were chewy/hard around the edges. I’ll give them another shot sometime soon as I love Jamaican food and they are right down the street. Service was great, I like the bumpin music, and the dude in the kitchen was super nice and cheerful.

This is an above average place around here. It’s one of the only places to get a good meal on this side of town. It could be slightly better though. Yes the door is unlocked at 11 am, however they most likely won’t have any food cooked yet, so most people working on canton road will never eat here on their lunch break. Flavor is some of the best in town, but the price is high for the quality of what feels like leftovers, especially by the end of the day. Edit: The quality and consistency has been increasing, but I never seem to get a accurate price-portion ratio. Pro tip: Large and small plates are almost always the same amount of food so ONLY ever pay for a small.

Let us start off by saying this place is amazing! Our favorite island to visit is Jamaica, and the food here brings us right back to the beach! Everything tastes fresh and authentic, and the portions are very good for the price! When we have island fever, we satisfy our cravings by stopping here! The jerk chicken is very good, but make sure to try some of the other options as well! The curry chicken and the stew chicken are some of our favorites! Also, the lunch special is one of the best you'll find in the area.
