Walked in and sat at table. Waitress had a attitude. Place was empty however she just left us and never took drink order. We walked right out.

THIS PLACE HAS SUCH TOP QUALITY FOOD..it's SICK . Came out to Florida for the week to meet with family. They took me to this restaurant in Sarasota. Be expected to folk over at least 100.00 bucks or more, that is if you want to explore some of their dishes like we did. The restaurant makes you feel like royalty because of their attentiveness. Before dinner we sat at the bar. I had a Margarita on the Rocks with no salt and they had Brandy's. My Margarita at a little over $16 bucks was small and filled with ice . Drinks were actually made they way they were supposed to be. Then we were seated at our table. Our waiter Andreas was a very personable guy, found out later he grew up on Long Island NY like me, small verld. We gorged over their highest rated dishes which came out one after another like they were appetizers. And we washed it all down with a pitcher full of their Rose Sangria. In the end we spent over $200.00 Bucks.

The place is very nice, the service is very good but the food is tasteless and graceless, so my rating is 3/10. The central dish I ordered was the paella which totally disappointed me. In my group there were 6 people and everyone had the same bad impression. The food was so simple that even the dessert was very tasteless. For what I received the costs are exaggerated. When you receive a good product, it doesn't matter much how much you pay, but at Jaleo you pay too much for a mediocre meal that is undoubtedly easily surpassed. I had a reservation at 7pm but they moved me to the table 40 minutes later

Every time we eat at Jaleo is a wonderful experience! The food is superb, and my mom, who lived in Spain, says it is authentically Spanish! The customer service is outstanding. We are treated like royalty every time we visit. No trip of ours to Disney starts without a dinner at Jaleo on the first day--and then always another dinner there sometime before the week is up. Truly a fantastic place to eat and a must visit!
