Jack & Charlie’s No. 118

Came in on a Monday night, sat at the bar. From the second we walked in the bartender had it out for us. Was whispering about us to the servers, hostess, etc just being very inappropriate and quite standoffish. Finally ordered our drinks, the martini which I've had here since the restaurant has been open is usually perfection. Came out absolutely horrible, mirky, and terribly made. When I sent it back she attempted to scold me on the incorrect martini recipe. Then continued to gossip about us with her coworkers. We've never had a bad experience here, particularly at the bar where the bartenders are usually so friendly, and fun and overall make exceptional cocktails. After this experience I doubt I'll return, but we had a good run while it lasted.

This place was great. The staff is amazing and friendly. Food is delicious. Bloody Mary’s were incredible. They have an option to have a cart brought to your table and they make your drink in front of you and you can pick out your options

Such a beautiful place and food was outstanding went there for a brunch birthday. They don't have much desert for brunch but highly recommend their donuts.

The chopped tuna is AMAZING - I would come back in a nanosecond for that dish. The other dishes we ordered (the littleneck clams, the bucatini carbonara) were all good but not memorable. My friend loves the ambiance/vibe here - I find it a little too sedate, not enough energy in the room. Additionally, you must check your bill because they attempted to charge us an additional % for using a credit card - we caught it and they removed the additional fee but really???

Cute cozy spot for brunch and dinner in the west village. Really great pre fix option for brunch with a drink flight. Fireplace and good for groups or just a date.

This is a charming restaurant with pretty good food. Service was pretty disappointing considering the potential. Colossal shrimp cocktail was overcooked. Fries were not hot. Turkey club and chicken Caesar were very good. I had a rum swizzle cocktail - was good. Our server was not familiar with the drink I ordered (a house specialty that was on the menu, and I had to show him on the menu). Shrimp appetizer arrived before our drinks, and we had to flag the server down and remind him we were waiting for our drinks). Food came and the server never checked on us to see if we needed anything. He did, however, quickly want to pick up the credit card receipt after I signed it. Bad service, pretty good food, charming ambience. Would return because it's cozy and fun. Wish they would train the staff.
