Food was incredible, staff were amazing and atmosphere was a bit loud.

Great food, great service. Took guests from out of town and they loved it.

My fiance and I have not had food this delicious in 2 years and it was at The Sandbar in Anna Maria. It's very rare to find quality food these days and the view is also stunning. These two reasons are why we will be getting married here in March

Horrible 0 stars!!! For service! Staff is rude we had a reservation then they forgot we were on the list so we waited an extra 30 mins for a table then we sat for 15 mins waiting for a server while many walked by and acted like we were not there when I finally talked to someone they acted bothered bc we wanted to order drinks then the other lady lied to us the whole experience was a nightmare!! NEVER AGAIN MNGMNT SHOULD RETRAIN STAFF !

Excellent quality

First time visiting Island Way Grill on a date night before a Tanya Tucker concert at the Bilheimer. The place was hopping. The smells were amazing. The wood fired grill wasn't overwhelming but made me crave grilled meat. They offer complimentary valet which is nice. Their menu has something for everyone from fish to scallops to steak to pork chops to sushi and even some amazing looking desserts. They have bars inside and outside. TVs if you need a sports fix. A sushi bar, raw bar, meat and dessert cases, etc. Their wine selection is like nothing I have seen since I worked at Tello's Italian Trattoria in South Haven, MI. My preferred beverage of choice is a nice extra dark stout or porter (which I didn't see on the beverage menu). But, they had a white Belgian triple which is a suitable alternative for my pallet. We shared a vegetable sushi roll as an appetizer. I settled on the Duroc pork chop with the truffle Mac and Cheese for my entree. My amazing date night companion had the bacon wrapped scallop pasta for her entree. The pork chop was cooked perfectly, seasoned well and the truffle Mac just needed a little salt and pepper to be perfect. It was rich, creamy and loaded with truffle flavor. The bacon on the scallops a little under done but the scallops were otherwise cooked to perfection and the pasta was equally as good. The real star of the restaurant for the evening was our server and after a couple of the 9% Belgian tripels I cannot recall his name. He served us on the patio, at a waterfront table that was kind of in the dark (string lights were out - wires melted from being too close to a heater I'd suspect). He was ridiculously friendly, knowledgeable, polite, prompt and attentive. We'll be back!

I've eaten they twice. The first time everything was cold, including the soup and my shrimp appetizer was overcooked. The second time my potatoes were cold and my steak was raw eventhough I requested medium.... I sent it back and 15 minutes later, after my wife and 2 friends had finished their meals, my steak came back burnt to a crisp.. I didn't eat it of course and I didn't have to pay for it but no one even came by to say " I'm sorry. " I left hungry, went to the Publix down the street and went home to cook my own steak. You see, I live across the street from this restaurant so why go back. They strike out on two pitches, I won't ever go back. I guess they have so many patrons eating there, they don't care about loosing a few.. My wife's food was bad as well but atleast she had something to eat... Their bread and salad was good though..
