Island Taste Caribbean Grill

In the middle of downtown, across the street from City Hall, you will find this gem. My absolute favorite dish is the rasta pasta with oxtail. I always order a side of plantains as well for something sweet after the meal has somewhat digested lol I want to support small local businesses and restaurants, and this is definitely worth supporting. I even love the playlist and have reminisced while enjoying my food and dancing a little. I have my go-to dish, but I have also tried the fried chicken, Jamaican patty, and tacos. If you go with multiple people, order several items and share. Really, the best way to experience the fullness of flavors and dishes. Parking: It can sometimes be difficult to find parking. There are several paid street parking spaces in front of the apartment complex right next to the restaurant. If there are no spaces available in front, there is more street parking off 6th Street.

Haitian food was fire, great prices too

If you’re looking for some good food, this is the place. With easy parking, it’s located in a convenient place so you can drive or take the bus. The portions are big too! I recommend the Haitian lemonade and the Rasta Pasta.

Easily!, the best caribbean restaurant in the south bay. the food is immaculate and they also give you a good amount. the vibe of the place is so cool and they have a great comedy show every 4th Friday of the month!

Delicious!!! Great portions!!! Escovitch red snapper (skankin’ sweet) and the brown stewed red snapper (one love) were amazing. I forgot to grab my festival but I could not even eat half of the food. The restaurant was very clean and welcoming. Parking: Parking is metered; picking up at opening was easy, but later in the day may be difficult

Great food as it was my first time there and the owners were friendly. Family ran mom and pop shop so gotta support them. Especially when their food is delicious. Vegetarian options: They have a few vegetarian options for a nice meal.
