I loved it. Literally a 110 year old shack turned in to a BBQ restaurant for 45 years is brilliant. It's a historical landmark sitting in the middle of modern sky risers. Service was great and food was bomb I definitely recommend this place if you ever visit Austin TX . If you like BBQ you will not be disappointed. Parking: Small amount of parking spots
What used to be an actual Irow Works is now one of the best BBQ around. Beef, pork, sausage done perfectly. Dry rib is so good you won't even need the sauce.
had brisket sandwich and potatos
Cole slaw is sooooo yummy. Woulda been nice to have a bit more food buy it was great. Creamed corn was a little weird.
Not worth the new prices everything almost doubled in price if your gonna raise prices at least fix the place up add air conditioning, or make the food better…
For months I thought this place was permanently closed until I happened to see a few cars parked in the lot and some folks walk in. I had mentioned to my girl multiple times that I wish I could’ve eaten here and I’m glad I finally got the chance. Food is good, Texas chili, sides and the ribs are tender and soft. Service is friendly and fast and I’ll definitely be headed back. Worth the visit.
Great inside and super friendly staff. But no parking and 30$ for a styrofoam plate ? Meat was dry. And homeless man yelling at me from the outside.
