Chill and classic diner in an awesome location. Not sure what took me so long to visit. Warm greeting when you walk in and great service throughout our visit. Went for the country fried chicken breakfast-so yummy! Perfect portion size-I ate it all and enjoyed every bite. Great coffee! Parking: Street parking only, depending when you go , parking in Tower can take a little extra time but always doable Kid-friendliness: Very chill , family vibe, very kid friendly
Super friendly staff. Food was amazing. Small diner with booths inside and patio seating outside. The old diner booths are worn but don't let that discourage you. Food arrived hot and well seasoned. Large portion.
Best burger for over 20 yrs.
Always a great place to eat. Brunch is good and the mimosas are huge and not too expensive. Vegetarian options: They have a great veggie patty that is house made and their own recipe and other options as well. Parking: Parking was fine but when it’s busy it can get hard to find a spot. There is a large parking lot near the restaurant and a small one behind it with street parking all around. It’s all free.
This place is cool friendly and not bad in price food was great thank you Irene Great service and atmosphere
Loved the food and the service. Thick bacon cuts never fail
Ordered a chicken fried steak breakfast plate with biscuits and gravy, a "grand slam" type of regular breakfast with pancakes, and a french dip sandwich. Came out to like $65, which is normal for 3 breakfasts, i'd say. The taste of the food, though? Excellent. The country fried steak or whatever tf its called was crunchy and didn't taste like it was made from frozen right then and there. My wife wasn't ENTIRELY WON OVER or too impressed with the roast beef sandwich, but here's a secret about her: I've never seen her order or eat any kind of roast beef dipping sandwich before & we're going on 10 years together, but idk. I love her anyway. But back to Irene's... basically, it's slightly on the steeper side of price, which is understandable considering its location right in the HEART of Tower. The food itself, (not thinking about cost) is absolutely Superb. The atmosphere? It's Tower for crying out loud. You NEVER KNOW "What" is gonna walk by next. And i do mean "WHAT" not "WHO."
I had lunch with a friend and it was very good. I had the chicken salad and he had the egg salad sandwich with fries. Very delicious. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was fun. I'll go here again.
