Went for the buffet before Simple Minds at the hydro, place was busy but not rammed. Buffet choice was pretty poor. Dull pakora and sauces. Not a great choice of mains and when I went up not a lot of meat in the sauces. Won't be back.

The food was okish, though not stellar, but the service was truly awful. I sat for 40 minutes without any contact from the serving staff. I did manage to get someone’s attention after 35 minutes but she just said “oh” and disappeared. I eventually got up and walked to the reception desk to pay and go (it was very tempting just to walk out, unnoticed, but I don’t have it in me.) Dreadful place.

Hadn't been here in years, had a not so good experience a few (8!) years back Popped in here before "what's love got to do with it" gig at Armadillo, couldn't get a la carte but luckily the buffet was on and it was tremendous As a veggie, plenty good options, from poppadoms to pakora, couple of mains, both great but the butter paneer was particularly good To top it off, the amazing little dessert of gulab jamun which I've never had before... think sweet syrupy little donut balls .... awesome We'll be back Vegetarian options: Lots of good options on the buffet, mostly well marked, could be slightly improved on with labelling but staff were more than happy to help and advise

During my recent trip to Glasgow, I had the pleasure of dining at India Quay, and it was an experience that left a lasting impression. Nestled along the River Clyde, this upscale Indian restaurant offers a contemporary twist on traditional flavors, making it a standout culinary destination in the heart of the city. From the moment I stepped inside, I was struck by the restaurant's elegant ambiance and stunning waterfront views. The stylish decor, coupled with soft lighting and modern accents, created an inviting atmosphere perfect for a memorable dining experience. The menu at India Quay showcases a fusion of Indian flavors with a creative flair. Each dish is meticulously crafted using fresh, high-quality ingredients, resulting in a symphony of flavors that dance on the palate. From succulent tandoori meats to fragrant biryanis and innovative vegetarian creations, there's something to delight every taste bud. One highlight of my visit was the impeccable service provided by Mr. Raj. His warm welcome, attentiveness, and genuine passion for hospitality elevated the dining experience to new heights. Mr. Raj's knowledge of the menu and willingness to accommodate special requests ensured that every guest felt valued and well taken care of. In addition to the exquisite food and attentive service, the restaurant's location offers a picturesque backdrop for a memorable meal. The panoramic views of the River Clyde add an extra touch of magic to the dining experience, making it a truly unforgettable affair. Overall, India Quay is a culinary gem that stands out for its innovative approach to Indian cuisine, impeccable service from Mr. Raj, and stunning waterfront setting. Whether you're looking for a romantic dinner for two or a celebratory meal with friends and family, this restaurant is sure to exceed your expectations. My sincere thanks to Mr. Raj and the entire team for a memorable dining experience in Glasgow.
