Il Fornaio

Great cocktails, great food, great service! The seafood ragu on the mafaldine is magnificent. The Calabrian Heat cocktail is unusual and delicious, with bourbon, hot honey, ginger, and lemon.

Food was just ok. Not fresh. Seat backs and decorations were dusty. Plastic flowers. It was my birthday. My mom said "it's her birthday, we need dessert!" Instead of the dessert menus they brought out a candle in a scoop of ice cream.

I’ve been to several different Il Fornaio’s. Usually dinner is pretty amazing. This one was sadly a bit disappointing. We sent three out of four dishes back because they were clearly cold not warm, cold. They completely forgot my wife’s dinner the entire night. I might think twice about trying this place out. Maybe they need some more servers. This in not normally the experience you get with Il Fornaio

I never leave reviews. Only my 5th one. So it means something… We took our girls there last night for dinner while we were out here for a cheer competition. It was the worst IlFornaio experience we’ve ever had. It took 25 minutes to get drinks to the table and to take our dinner order. Ordered a bottle of wine and he spilled the red wine all Over our tablecloth. We had to return our calamari, because it was cold and soggy. We had to ask For bread. My husband‘s pasta Bolognese entree was ice cold had to be returned to be heated our daughters french fries with her chicken nuggets were cold and my entire dinner entree that I ordered (pasta vodka with chicken)was actually never served. As in I didn’t have dinner…. I sat there with no dinner and no food and they didn’t even notice I was never served and by the time they noticed or even came back the rest of my family had already eaten their dismal dinner so I didn’t ended up not eating dinner. It was the worst experience ever and he took the nuggets off and that was it. No manager, no so sorry we didn’t even serve your dinner to you. Nothing.It was ridiculous the worst service, and we would never go back to that Fornaio the one in Sacramento and Walnut Creek are amazing. This one is horrible avoided all costs. $180 for no dinner served and horrible experience. - The Iris Family
