We would love a new IHOP in Candelas 80007 area
As a customer, I always appreciate restaurant staff and tip well. However, last night (2/28) I came in to pick up what was supposed to be a curbside pickup. The server/cashier was not pleasant at the get go and kept snapping at people "there are only 2 people working." I waited my turn all the while my food behind her was getting cold. When I thought there was a break in what she was doing, I informed her I was picking up my order behind her. She immediately snapped at me, again reiterating that there were only 2 people working. Seems to me to be a restaurant issue, not mine, but she was taking her frustration out on the customers. This server should not be working with the public if this is how she deals with customers. I certainly didn't appreciate this treatment. When I snapped back at her she threatened to report me. To whom?? the manager? Good! No, she said if I said one more thing she was going to report me to DoorDash. I then informed her that I was not associated with DoorDash. She didn't know what to say, because she knew she overstepped, grabbed my bag of food and I was on my way. Yes, my food was stone cold when I went to eat it and certainly not worth the price I paid. None of this matters, however, as that was the last dime I will spend here. I will never step foot in this restaurant again.
Our server had an attitude and made every one uncomfortable at our table yelling at the cooks in the back my kids were very uncomfortable not exceptable we wanted to leave
My granddaughter and I had your promotional chocolate chip pancakes that tasted like there was so much salt that even the syrup couldn't get rid of the bad taste. I had a chicken quesadilla that wasn't even cooked right, I had to use a fork to eat it, it was soggy. Just a BIG YUCK!!
It was overly crowded, and people with strollers are very rude. It took over 30 minutes for our food.
Everything started well, though I noticed we were seated in the back area where the employees normally roll their silverware and have breaks. We sit in front of their POS machine. The server was quick, we order and everything goes well. I order a Machaca. When the food arrives, it's not the server. They forgot the tortillas, but that's ok. But what's not ok is that the Machaca tasted sweet. IHOP being notorious for putting pancake batter in their liquid eggs. This is where things get worse, I don't see the waitress for 25 mins. In the course of this time the entire swing shift comes in to clock in. Your bus boy is enthusiastic, but I did not find his loud greetings to be pleasant. At this point I give up. I ask one of the employees for a box. 15 minutes later we decide to go to the front to pay when no one returns. The waitress miraculously appears with a bag and box. I return to the table to find the buster working quickly. The waitress and buser appologize but at this point I have already given up. The waitress just doesn't get and the least thing she does is give us a discount. IHOP, what happened? Things were never like this. Names omitted for privacy.
