Honestly some of the best sushi in Austin and if you like calamari, even a little, their calamari will change your life, I think about it every day.
Excellent sushi with lots of options. Friendly service. Affordable food! Rare these days
The food was terrible. The atmosphere and service were nice. The sushi was so dry it was flaking off and discolored. The ramen broth was OK but the sprouts were dirty and old and the corn was canned. It’s a shame because the North location was quite good when we went. Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs
This is probably my fav Ramen place in Austin. Most other more popular ramen places in Austin lack quality and consistency, so they typically disappointed me after coming back. This is my fav Austin Ramen place bc they offer chicken ramen ,not just tonkatsu (pork). Soft boiled egg is standard in every bowl. The noodles are the perfect size, not small like other places that need you to order extra noodles to be satisfied. The best part to me is you can make the Ramen spicy any way you want, from low, med, to extra, I went with the medium spicy and it was perfect! My friend is allergic to fish so I did not try the sushi, so I will try next time. The prices are pretty good. Overall, I definitely will be coming back again.
This was our first time at ichi-umi, I got the chicken katsu bento and it was the most delicious thing I've had our waitress was really amazing and friendly and the service was fast, we will definitely be going back!
