This place always hits the spot and is the closest ramen outside of Japan I've had in Dallas.
Not only the best ramen but also the staff is kind and super nice!
Had the Veggie Ichigoh Buns along with the Veggie Ramen and they were great! Vegetarian options: The veggie ramen was very good.
The grossest ramen noodles I’ve ever. It tasted like when you leave meat in the fridge too long and it has that off flavor. The waiter was extremely rude upon telling them that the broth was “too strong” because of the off flavor. I asked for a small cup of plain chicken broth (also icky) to try to save what I could of the toppings and when he brought it out he gave me a lecture…that they normally don’t do this for anyone but they’ll do it for me. Of course they charged me for the cup of broth anyways. Overall it was so disgusting and the gluten free noodles were tasteless and gross. I usually don’t write bad reviews, but they could have done something, anything to at least make it right.
came here for dinner for our family girls trip! we arrived a bit late & managed to snag parking right outside of the restaurant. it was about $1.35 to park outside for two hours. we ordered the chicken chasu rice bowl & my daughter had the yuzu chicken ramen. my daughter enjoyed the ramen & it was really good. when I tried it, it was so light and refreshing almost! highly recommend - appetizers were delicious!
I don’t know how this place has any bad reviews as Ichigoh is the best place to visit if you want to try authentic ramen. The people who don’t like the ramen here probably think maruchan is the best ramen to exist. Everything here is made in house, and they import even their noodles from Japan. They have many vegetarian options and even offer gluten free noodles! This is the only place that I ever will get ramen from. The vibe is great and good for dates, catch ups, or lunch by yourself. I recommend the Yuzu Shio for something light and citrusy, the Spicy Soboro for something with a kick and the Spicy Miso for something hearty and filling. It is a family run business so even more reason to come show love and support! The staff are super nice and attentive. Don’t be embarrassed to ask questions as the staff are highly knowledgeable about the menu. Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian apps. ( shishito peppers - sub for regular salt, veggie buns - no mayo, edamame, nasu dengaku, and avocado salad - no hanakastuo ) and ramen ( apple fennel Shio, veggie shoyu, spice/regular miso )
