5 stars for the staff, 0 stars for pricing. $18 for a 6 pack of yeti… and it’s $12 not even a 3 minute drive away. Are they collector edition bottles and the whiskey is… same story for the most part and as for the whole shop, you’re going to be unpleasantly surprised if you’re iso anything that’s not local to Colorado by in large. I don’t see any of my favorite whiskeys or vodka. Good stop for friendly service and local varieties but that’s the only value proposition I really see here.
Very friendly and had great recommendations and selections!
Don’t open when they say they will
My go to liquor store in cap hill/Congress park. I’ve moved about 5 miles away and still make the effort to come back to Hugo’s
K fam, in Denver and want a great selection of Colorado craft beer...and knowledgeable, friendly staff? GO TO HUGO'S. Don't waste your time going anywhere else
Nice selection, nice people, clean store, I personally found it to be pretty expensive for the beers compared to other places, but well organized selection..
Love that this place is right around the corner from me. This shop is small, but mighty with a well-curated offering of beer and wines. (I am less of a liquor purchaser, so I can't speak to those, though they seem great.) Depending on who is behind the register, you may have someone who is more or less knowledgable about wines. But the owner really knows his stuff, and I trust almost all that's he's selected for the shop, so it's hard to go wrong.
Huge beer selection. Glad I discovered this place
