Hong Kong BBQ Dim Sum & Kitchen

Reasonably priced dim sum. I liked the sticky rice leaves and baked creamy egg buns. The orange chicken was good but a little bit too overpowering for my palate. The other buns and dumplings were okay. I would definitely recommend going here but stick with what you know you like.

I love this place. The food is really good and the service is fast. I try to stop here whenever we are going to Padres games or coming back from San Diego. I like to order their chicken feet and a duck.

I’m sorry to say but this was one of the worst dim sum experiences I’ve had in my life and trust me when I say I’ve eaten plenty of dim sum across the world. First off, the food came out cold which is a big no no for dim sum. The taste was bland and you could tell there wasn’t a lick of passion put into the food. The atmosphere of the place was also lifeless and felt like an abandoned building with unused furniture everywhere. We really should have turned around when we saw no customers inside.

Very good food at a great quality:quantity:price point. I rated this 4 stars in the past, but the food and experience I feel has improved what was already very good food, so adding a star. Service was warm, friendly, and attentive. They updated the place a year ago, so it's nicer than it was before--but don't come here for the ambiance (it's in a space adjacent to a supermarket). Recent experience has re-confirmed this to be our preferred cozy, casual, eat-out-with-the-family place to go when we want solid Cantonese fare. They have some dim sum on the menu, which is all good, but it's only for limited options. But what they do, they seem to do well.

Best dim since we moved from Vancouver, BC. The deep fried spicy squid is the best I've had in California.

This is generally a good place for dim sum. But my personal opinion is the porridge and xiao long bun is not that good. Others are good
