A female bartender was very impolite, arrogant and lazy, refusing to accept a Brazilian ID in order to sell one single beer to a 32-year-old man. I spoke to the manager Wes who was sorry about it. Next time, hire people who UNDERSTAND what it is to work at an international, and supposedly magical, place.
I always come here to grab butterbeer because they have shorter waits than the outdoor carts. You can get all the variations of it here (and imo, the hot one is the best). The patio in the back overlooks Velocicoaster and is shaded. It's a nice, quiet area to sit and break away from the crowd.
I did not have the food. We had butter beers, I got frozen, my fiancé had the cold one. I prefer frozen to cold. We ordered separate shots of rum and added it to the butter beers and it was that little extra that was extra yummy. If you get a chance, the butter beers are great! Maria was our bartender, she was great and helpful!
Potterheads! Anything related to Harry Potter universe can make people happy. The butterbeer is a unique taste with a lot cream on top and strong taste. It has a lot sugar in it, I mean a lot. But anyone visiting should certainly try!
Doesn't get better than this! Love love love it!
I put 5 stars for the food because the park-specific beers are to die for. The actual food at either of the HP restaurants is overpriced and underwhelming. Anywho - the barkeepers are always fantastic. They'll let us know anything they think is important, let us know we could take our beers on the train, and even filled up our water bottle. And the animatronic Hog in the back is fun to watch. There's also almost never a line here - if you want a brew or butterbeer- this is the fastest way to go.
Stopped by for a quick snack. Food was okay, the decor and atmosphere was what really impressed me. The little details and set up to fit in to the Harry Potter world was spot on. I would definitely recommend coming to take a look around and enjoy a butterbeer but the food was mediocre and could have been better for sure.
