Hilltop was our last fuel and restroom stop leaving Fairbanks on the way to the Arctic Circle. We were told they have the best pie so I had to try a slice. There were so many flavors to choose from but I ultimately chose the peanut butter silk. It was really incredible and I wish I would’ve grabbed another one to go. It may look a rustic stop from the outside but don’t pass up the opportunity to get yourself a slice of pie.
Stopped 4 times going to and from Manley Ak. Everything we had was good, and Lots of it. I especially liked the Breakfast Pan Bake. Highly recommend place to stop out in the middle of nowhere . Service was great too.
DELICIOUS pie, great biscuits and gravy, and meat lovers wrap really good. I think I was most stoked to see they sold alcohol! Super friendly staff as well!
Best coconut cream pie. Just bought it and tried and was bowled over.
Home made pie and a variety of supplies and fuel. The pies were decent; the blueberry pie filling was great, the crust was ok. It was a nice place to stop after hiking.
The food was reminiscent of a school cafeteria and their so called famous pie was horrible, in fact, after two bites, I threw the $7.00 slice in the trash. The staff, however, were extremely nice, it’s just too bad their food is so terrible.
Amazing food! Huge pie selection!
The very last stop for a good while & the last stop if you are heading further north to see the Aurora Borealis. Not as big as the stores back home, but everyone is friendly & the pies are famous. A cashier asked me where I was from cause I sounded different from most up there. Turns out she was from Pass Christian, MS & tan into another Mississippian way up here!
