Ordered the hot corned Beef that was supposed to come with cole slaw and was informed when I picked it up that they were out. Staff was not helpful, corned beef was dry, and the rye bread tasteless and not toasted enough.
You would expect the chips that they offer were the ones on display. Instead they hit you with a cheap bag of plain lays No bread choices either, unless burnt was a option. The cashier was nice. The I assume manager isn't
Ordered a sandwich with chips. Don’t fall for the display of nice chip choices by the cashier where your order is taken. But everyone was told that you couldn’t grab those chips, you had to get your chips where you pick up your food. And then they only give you plain lays. Not the end of the world but definitely seems like you’re mislead by the choices.
No pickle, online ordering didn't work, wrong ingredients put on sandwich - Not good for the price.
Ordered a cold Italian sub. The sandwich was mediocre (mostly bread if you’re in to that). Menu said it came with a pickle and choice of side (chips, cole slaw, or potato salad). I wasn’t told they were out of pickles until after I paid and there was also no choice for the side. I received the world’s smallest bag of Classic Lay’s. When I inquired about receiving partial money back for these issues, I was told the pickle and chips were free with the sandwich. Cool Heidi’s.
So not a lot of places to choose from at the airport but hotdog was good. Sandwiches looked really good too.
As "Brooklyn" and "Deli" as the name "Heidi" ... A little puny sandwich for those trapped at an Airport
Heidi's is my go-to to treat myself while working. The prices are a bit higher than other options in the airport, but the fresh bread made daily, and quality ingredients make it a great splurge. And I love it when they bake sweets! It makes the whole concourse smell divine ;) I tried their fresh brownies today and they were sooo good! So rich I couldn't finish it in one sitting though, so great for when you've got time to kill on a layover or when I'm on break, or just to share. The sandwiches are great too. (The Bronx Bomber is my favorite, highly recommend) Dietary restrictions: They have gluten-and-dairy-free, and vegetarian options available, all made in-house.
Ordered italian sub- meat was brown like it had gone bad, no oil, vinegar, or oregano Almost $20 for a poor sandwich
