The service was amazing. It was nice to be greeted with a smile and with so many accommodations. HOWEVER!…. As a native of Chicago, the food was not up to par for Harold’s. Specifically, the hot sauce. Quite frankly, it was bad. The mild sauce was a bit too sweet, but close to the original. Although the service was great and the atmosphere was ok, this place shouldn’t call itself Harold’s because it doesn’t taste like it. The food is not bad, but Harold’s has a very specific taste. Selling this to people who are visiting from out of town, is false advertisement.
The chicken was stringy, tasted like they refried some old chicken and gave it to me.
Chicken is good. But don't get the banana pudding for $4 because you only get the 3 soft/soggy vanilla wafers on top the rest is just pudding with small bits of banana it's not a traditional soul banana pudding The atmosphere of this Harold's on Wabash is RAGGEDY and cold definitely get your food to go!
I can only speak of their online ordering (sauces) and customer service. Everytime I've had an issue with my order, its fixed within a good time. The guy who works with these deliveries( I forgot his name) is always willing to help and correct. Will continue to shop here and get the best sauces around.
Best Harold’s location in the downtown area as far as I’m concerned. Wings can be bigger, but you could say that about any place. I got two five wing mild with extra mild sauce dinners. Delicious and They were not stingy with the sauce at all.
You get two sauces with 5 wings. You get two sauces with 10 wings. Does that make sense?
