Hush puppies!!! Whie sauce!!! Both of the above were great. Don't worry about an appetizer. I had the ribs and baked potato with slaw, and I was not able to eat all of it. Just plain smoked ribs, sauce on the side, were tender and flavorful, my companion had a small bbq plate, and it was very good as well.

I don't usually write reviews but this really threw me. I called an order in for large catfish plate on Thursday around 6pm. I asked how long before it would be ready for pickup. I was told 5 minutes and the man hung up the phone. I was going to ask only 5 minutes and is it already cooked.(Wanted it fresh) Since I know that it takes longer than 5 minutes to cook fish (unless they were going to serve it half done). I went to catfish cabin where it was freshly cooked and I really enjoyed it. I will not go back.

Great food and service

It's an institution and it deserves it. I can go there with my family of 4 and spend $50 and be well-fed with solid BBQ. The hushpuppies and white sauce are top notch. Kid's cheeseburger was large. Both kids feel it's one of the best grilled cheese sandwiches they've ever had. Soft serve add-on costs almost nothing and the kids love it. My ribs were fantastic and my wife had fried shrimp that were cooked perfectly. It's a pleasure to eat at a local family-owned place that has been around for a while.
