Mediocre food for the price. If you want to pay 30$ for a plate of potatoes and 2 quarters worth of tough meat then this is the place for you. Service was just okay even though they auto gratuity 22% on all checks. I have no problem with auto gratuity but 22% is steep especially for mediocre service.
Great food and friendly service... so sad it won't be here for long but glad I got to try it
Awesome place. Visiting from atlanta. Was walking down the square with some good friends and happened to walk past the place. This is foremost a champagne bar. The champagne cocktails are creative. The flights are creative. The idea is creative. I have travelled and drank at many places across the world. These types of places are a gem. I asked the bartender Kenny to create something off menu with egg whites and the drink was stunning. A strawberry amaretto combination that started off as a daiquiri but ended with the perfect winter drink aftertaste. Also had the Vesper martini which is a classic Bond drink. Little light on the Lillet but otherwise no complaints. Highly recommend for visitors. The ambience is classy and a reminder of a classic European cocktail bar. Ask for Kenny.
If I could give it half a star I would. Cold brisket, cold pork, charged 22% which I like when restaurants do that to look after their people. Asking for the tip after though is just sad. Especially when the service was awful. The food choices are minimal as well and frankly school dinner standard. Honestly never been left feeling so disappointed, ripped off and dissatisfied. Worst restaurant I've been too in denver.
Had to dock because the automatic 22% service fee was a bit steep for a server who was so unfriendly they didn’t even introduce themselves or care to make any suggestions when the cocktails we ordered were “out” for the day. $40 for 2 drinks (1 was nonalcoholic) and an unfriendly server.
Excellent atmosphere, service, and cocktails. Nothing else needed!
So long and thanks for all the fish.
