Best chicken wings in Columbus
4.3 stars? Preposterous. Firstly the Caesar salad was atrocious like their orange juice. Reminds me of cheap cafeteria food. Our waiter forgot to ask for our drinks after we waited 20 mins before having to remind another server. The chicken dinner was less than mediocre, bland & dry. KFC is superior. My disenfranchised date nearly froze as our seating area upstairs was the same temperature as outside. We didn’t even finish the meal, paid & left promptly for a real restaurant. This is a bar intended for drinking of which we didn’t partake. Our return will be an impossibility.
First visit was disappointing. The waitress had us scream across the table to place order instead of going to each person. We had to ask for silverware and she only brought one set for 6 people, had to ask again. Atmosphere was loud hard to hear people at your own table ( we went at brunch time on a Saturday) The food was mediocre at best, my chicken was dry and so was the biscuits. Wish it lived up to all the expectations we had. Parking: We had to walk about a block from parking Kid-friendliness: Not a kid friendly place. We went for brunch with reservations stating we had 2 children with us and they sat us at a high top table upstairs
Me and a date sat for 15-20minutes and no service and a group that came after us got severed first that day one booth behind us. They weren’t even that busy on 3/1 around 10. It was ridiculous.
We were told that the Grandview Cafe had good fish and chips, so we suggested it when some friends called to get together for lunch. The fish and chips were not good... they were GREAT! - the best we've ever eaten! Can't wait to go back for more. The only complaint was that the music was so loud we could barely hear each other across the table. We didn't say anything, but will next time we go if it's that loud again. Parking: There are several parking spots dedicated to GC positions across the street from the cafe, in the Panzera's Pizza parking lot.
Chase is a fantastic bartender. He is super friendly and attentive. The world needs more bartenders like him. Food, drinks and service all great! We will be back.
Starting off it was as if our server forgot we were there. The pizza was foul. Just no. The chili mediocre. The mussels with fries were very good as well the chicken dinner plate.
I don't really understand this restaurant. It has so much potential yet falls short in so many ways. It seems like they just rely on their location which obviously is great. However, nothing else is great about the restaurant aside from the patio. Everything else is overwhelmingly average. Sometimes the food is okay. Sometimes it's pretty bad. Sometimes the service is okay or good. Other times it's rude or nonexistent. I have been here many times and have never seen a manager around not once. It doesn't seem to be run well, and the female bartenders especially have an air about them that it doesn't matter what they do their job is secure. I think it's weird they never brought menus back. I think it's unfortunate the servers don't help each other. I think their drink selection both alcoholic and nonalcoholic is lacking, and I don't like that they use plastic cups. The menu makes no sense and desperately needs a reboot. The breakfast potatoes are sad and so is the hard bread the benedict is served on (which otherwise would be a delicious dish). The spinach dip is very inconsistent, and the chips served with it are very average. The burger tastes frozen and I find it inedible. The pizza is just strange. What is up with the cheese on the margarita? The crust is odd as well. I'd come here weekly if they made improvements, but simpletons will always come here so they don't feel the need to do better. Meh.
Rally’s level food but without the service
