I had the brisket with coleslaw. The brisket is just yummy and delicious. It’s thin slices but they give you a good amount. The slaw is yummy! Love this place
A little Sunday night dinner while the car was charging allows free parking and avoiding $15 flat rate fee. I had the catfish with two sides of potato salad.
Changed ownership. The soul was Taken out of the Food. Fired catfish seasoning is non-existent now. Collard greens have no seasoning and are just lacking in all aspects. The pictures on the wall are lame and egocentric. Grams before COVID had soul.
The BBQ chicken didn't have a drop of BBQ sauce on it, it was on the side. The only flavor and smell were of smoked chicken. The sides were average. Disappointed, won't be returning.
They have had delicious and hearty food every single time I've dined here. I will usually get the catfish or red snapper lunch/dinner with collard greens as both sides. The fish is always crisp and juicy and the greens cooked perfectly. Service is great. I'll be back for more!
The food was very expensive 65$ for two entrees. Expected the food to be great for the expensive price. Ordered tri tip and brisket. The tri tip and brisket was very oily and soggy, the food tasted old. The fries were stale. The Mac and cheese had to no flavor. Ate most of the food because it was so expensive didn’t want to waste it. Spoke to the staff over the phone and they stated they would give a partial refund for the food, they stated to call back for the manager next day for refund. Called 3 times three different days for the partial refund and the manager kept avoiding the call. Finally got a hold of the manager and she states they don’t do refunds at all. Overall bad service and bad food.
Good alternative if you don't feel like cooking this type of food.
