The young female cashier was so rude: I asked a worker male if I can use the restroom and he said yes, there’s someone in it. At the same time that’s when the cashier girl came out and threw her arms up looking at him and she told me are you buying something and I said yes my husband is finding parking spot. She let me in and once again told me it’s only if you’re buying something. We came back about 30 minutes later because we had some phone calls to make. We went to the restaurant and my husband didn’t know what to order, he was looking at the menu and I asked if I can use the restroom and she said when I’m done taking his order, I asked if she can open the door first and she looked at me saying no I will do it afterwards. We couldn’t believe how rude she was. She has absolutely no customer service skills. To top it off my husband threw his tamale away because it was gross. I would never recommend a place with such bad customer service. They need someone else in the front who will treat the customers with respect.
Met the mom and younger son very humble. I recommend giving this establishment a visit well worth the money spent.
This place is a hidden gem. These are by far the best tamales I’ve ever eaten, and I’ve munched down more than a few. The staff are amazingly friendly and accommodating. They let us eat in the store at the peak of Christmas tamale pickups. The owner and his family are a pleasure to chat with and you can tell they have serious passion for making Tamales. Very generous and hospitable people. We’ve eaten here several times around the holidays and it’s been great each time. Muchas Gracias!
Food was phenomenal. Pineapple tamales were so delicious. Would definitely recommend.
Wow! Homemade tortillas! Fresh. Fast. Delicious. You can tell it’s family owned and that they take pride in the business. They should be proud. The guy who rang me up was so nice and ran to get me napkins before I left. I will be back as much as I can Vegetarian options: Beans, rice, chiles, pineapple all options Parking: Lots of street spots that are metered Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp
Went there today got there at 3 and they were close. Even though it says they’re open till 4. So I don’t know what’s up.
Tamales are good but now they’re just overpriced. I remember when they were $25 a dozen, then $35, then they popped up on an episode on ABC30 and the price went to $45. Not worth the price anymore. The lady in front of the Catholic Church in downtown makes them just as good and charges $22 dozen.
The red pork tamales omgosh they are not playing really felt like I walked into my grandmas kitchen and just got a tamale out the pot seriously that good and the people who work there are so kind and friendly honestly you can tell they really care about their customers 10/10 we will keep coming back my husband and I loved the tamales and to our surprise so did our kids even the middle child and he is the pickiest eater he's always the one to turn food away if anything is off but this time mouth full of tamale and all smiles doing a happy bounce in his seat
Worst costumer service ever. I have never seen as bad as this place. That's ridiculous ' this place place should not be open. The city should take an action. I felt like been harassed just by asking questions. I don't recommend this place
