You enter the cafe and have to go to a front desk. It's a self-serve type of restaurant... yet they still expect a tip.. What?? I think thats the only reason why they were even friendly in the first place. They even request that you get your own coffee and drinks, and the cups they give you contain the knives and forks.. Which doesn't add character to the place, its just weird. The coffee was mediocre at best, and the food wasn't good at all my girlfriend was adding salt to her breakfast sandwich while eating it just to add a bit of flavor. chef must have blind taste buds. Very disappointed with this place and will never return. Unhappy I'm in a galaxy where this restaurant exists.
Changing my review from 5 stars to a 2. The food is good, though terribly expensive. I'm a regular, but from the dull-witted staff's lack of concern and congeniality to the dark and uncomfortable confines of the dining room, I'll be taking my business (and tips) elsewhere. Tips, by the way, that get you virtually no service at all, except for the hapless delivery of your food. "Can i get you some ketchup or mayo?" says the young man with pretty hair. "Yes, some ketchup would be nice." I never saw him again. Rarely a smile, rarely a thank you from this staff. Oh, the only exception is the kind and friendly man who buses the tables. Upon my rare return here, my cash tips will go directly to him.
