Really cute and yummy food. A little pricey but the taste is worth it. Our waitress Kate was super nice and did a great job ✨
The waiters and host were all very courteous and we got our food quick. The restaurant itself was very nice. The food, however, wasn’t very good. The iced tea was bitter and tasted like tap water, the rice bowl didn’t have much flavor, the grilled cheese sandwich was burnt with barely any cheese and just a tomato inside, and the mac and cheese was very salty, but probably the best dish. Overall, it cost WAY too much in general let alone for food that we didn’t even enjoy. I’d like to give it the benefit of the doubt, that it was just an off day and maybe the breakfast or dinner dishes are better? Vegetarian options: No clearly labeled vegetarian dishes, but there are some options.
Always solid food & easy to order out or eat in. Our ‘go to’ for casual meals
This is our go-to restaurant when we want great food with excellent service from the staff. It feels like home! Friedman’s on WEA never disappoints!
The atmosphere was great! I loved the energy and vibe and the food… AMAZING! I ordered the Chilaquiles and it was the best in the USA HANDS DOWN! Amazing for first time comers to NY and essential for breakfast. Literal 100 out of 10 NO DOUBT.
They don’t advertise their French toast as gluten free but they can make it gluten free! Really enjoyed it and like how many gluten free options they have. Staff is friendly and the restaurant has a homey, local feel. One of our favorite spots in Manhattan. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free
The food was great. My first time to NY and I wanted a good brunch and this restaurant DELIVERED! I ordered the Eggs with Style and they were delicious! I recommend to every and anyone looking for a good spot to dine!
