Sam the owner is awesome and always makes me and my family very welcomed every time we eat there. The food always tastes amazing and the service is alway6on point

The breakfast was delicious with perfectly cooked eggs, crisp thick bacon and fresh fruit were ripe. My husbands omelette was also delicious and cooked perfectly. I have always enjoyed your ambience and friendly service.

I LOVE, LOVE this restaurant! The pancakes are amazingly delicious & fluffy! There’s a variety of omelettes! I LOVE the atmosphere!

A film crew and I, consisting of around 20 people, came to Fresno and with only a couple of days notice, Sam at FBH was able to accomodate us fully with drop off catering. For breakfast they did a spread of breakfast burritos that were phenomenal (we ordered some extra and still there were none left within an hour or so of them being dropped). For lunch we did lemon chicken, tri-tip, vegetarian lasagna, and sauteed veggies/rice sides with a garden salad. It was DELICIOUS. Crew never takes catering home but we had people grabbing leftovers to eat later. Sam was so accomodating and lovely, and they were able to accomodate a very early morning breakfast drop. If their bulk catering was this good, I'm sure the food if you sit down is even better, and I can't wait to pass through Fresno again to try some on my personal time. Thanks, FBH/Sam!!!

So we went in for lunch since my wife has fond memories of this place with her grandparents, it was a first time for me and I was super hungry so I was looking forward to it. I ordered the brunch burger ($20), and my fries were good, but my burger was bland to the point that adding salt couldn’t save it a bit. I tried liking it but after a couple bites I was done. I didn’t even want to take it home and the server was just like “oh well; sorry. Let me get it out of your way so you don’t have to look at it”. I paid full price to just eat my fries and a couple bites of a poorly made burger. Also, you have to wait a MONTH to maybe get your first coupon that’s advertised as available next time you visit. Which to be honest, I don’t see happening anytime soon.

We love this OLD CALIFORNIA style place for breakfast. Hearty portions everything is good. We even love the staff. It’s like seeing family without the “family”! Great place!
