Great Food, Ambiance and Service.

Walked up to the entrance and said hello. One of the girls silently grabbed a menue and walked away. Totally understand, getting underpaid and disrespected everyday sucks. Servers taking orders were quick, friendly and attentive, the only saving grace of this restaurant. The food was made exactly how the recipe called for. Bad. Their "Queso"? Straight up velveta, unedited. While a handful of menu items are conceptually creative, the flavor is nonetheless absent. Their culinary director clearly has no background in mexican culture. I feel for the back of house team having to do 'this' to their own cuisine. (Typical kitchen team setup: hispanic people doing the hard work, someone else giving orders) Which brings me to "work". Of which the managers do none of. In fact the only time I saw her do anything was to get up and snap at one of the servers. Rude, unprofessional, embarrassing for her. Ive seen this exact situation MANY times: - Restaurant over extends itself and becomes a corporate chain - People at the top breathe down the necks of management about "THE BUDGET" and "HOURS" - Management constantly stressed/ angry, take it out on their staff who is now treated as disposable - Entire restaurant crumbles due to a budget that was created so a small handful of people can get rich on the broken backs of the restaurant staff Usually its too late to save at this point, the top has their pockets lined and will never let that go. My heart goes out to your hard working team, i hope corporate sees this and backs off so yall can do your work in peace and instill a healthier workplace.

From the spicy margaritas to the queso to the tacos, everything was top notch. Service was great and everything was kid friendly

First time trying it and enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. Took our toddler and she enjoyed the outside seating with the patio heaters. I ordered a Cucumber Cilantro Cocktail and it was great. Presentation, taste and temperature were checking all my boxes. Ordered some cripsy empanadas and they were so yummy. I’m very picky about Mexican restaurants and I will definitely be returning after those tasty empanadas! Specifically White Oaxacan Cheese and black beans I believe. The salsa was great too not too spicy but just enough to get a nice taste! The plates were alright we ordered Tacos (2) and a Shrimp plate. Came out pretty fast and got some beans and rice for the kiddo. Service was well towards the end took a bit longer to find out waiter, if not I would’ve given a full 5 stars. Other than that enjoyed it and will be returning hopefully with more family to join.

Pozole is good!

Seriously, as an Austin native, I have never had such amazing flautas. And the drinks are so delicious. You can always substitute alcohol with a Topo Chico and you get the same great flavor :) And enough space outside for my toddler to run around...supervised of course Thank you!!
