Ordered the classic chicken sandwich tonight, overall it was good but not a great chicken sandwich. Just overall the entire sandwich lacked flavor for me. The chicken served was red meat, usually for a fried chicken sandwiches I prefer white meat. The batter for the chicken wasn’t a super crispy cruncy batter either and lacked seasoning. The aioli sauce also lacked flavor, pear slaw wasn’t all that exciting either. I ordered fries as well but didn’t realize it would come salt and seasoned. The seasoning has a bit of a sweetness to it which I am personally not a fan of, but the fries were very crispy which I really liked. Service was also very friendly which is a plus.

Incredible fried chicken sandwiches. This place puts every other fried chicken joint (Hotboys included) to shame. Just stop reading and go here already. My favorite is the citric hot chicken but it’s hard to go wrong with any of the menu items.

Wow! Just wow!!! Is what both me and my wife said when we bit into the best chicken sandwich ever. I was hesitant to write this review because I want it to remain a hidden gem, but have to give props to the owner who was there…great guy and food matches his personality.

OMG! The best fried chicken sandwich I have ever had. We ordered the Charred Lemon Pepper Fried Chicken sandwich and the Black Garlic Fried Chicken sandwich. Our intention was to each eat half and switch but after a bite of the Black Garlic which was tasty I kept to the Charred Lemon Pepper… OMG. We both couldn’t stop saying OMG. The flavors were perfect and just the right amount of slaw and pickles. The bun is so soft. We shared an order of fries seasoned to perfection served with ketchup. We also used a black garlic sauce on our sandwiches which was heavenly. The owner is so friendly and a local guy, and has a lot more flavors up his sleeves to share. We cannot wait to go back! The only downside is once word gets out how fantastic the food is there will be a line for miles. There is very limited seating.

In fear of the long lines I got there early, it was a Friday and I didn’t wanna risk wasting my time. Quick tip: the earlier the better when they done they done. From order to finish it only took about 10min. I got the Original with a side of fries. Next time I think I’ll go for the spicy option but I wanted to be safe on the first try. Original Chicken Sandwich: Brioche Bun, fresh slaw, crispy juicy fried piece of chicken and a house sauce. Fries: well seasoned and crispy fresh Parking: Plenty of paid street parking. Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible and Welcomed
