Wonderful ambiance, eloquent decor, great service, tasteful music selection, and excellent food. I had been wanting to come here for some time and we finally made it with some good friends of ours. Everyone in our party was delighted with the experience from the moment we walked through the door. It’s a combination of hip, yet low key. There were plenty of large groups but also folks on dates having a quiet time. There is a wonderful lounge space with a plethora of choices for sitting down if you don’t want to have full dinner service. The bar is very big and beautiful with what appears to be a great licor selection. They happened to keep the spirit local with the choice of light fixtures, the rooster at bar entrance, and an incredible room called the Teddy Roosevelt room. I highly suggest you check that room out even if you don’t dine there. Our waitress and the staff were very helpful, informative, and jovial. The food…. Everything was excellent, except the gritz that came with the ribs. It was very watered down due to the sauce, but when we spoke to the manager, he graciously provided a full replacement meal to go and free dessert. We will definitely be going back, probably for brunch. I’m sure it will be delightful. Cheers! Dietary restrictions: The accommodate dietary restrictions as best as possible. Parking: The best spot is the multi level parking garage called Centro Ybor Parking. The parking lot across the street is very pricey.
To start off with the good, the interior design was beautiful! It’s a stunning place to have a meal. Unfortunately, the food missed the mark for me. I came for brunch and had the English breakfast detour. The grits had no seasoning or flavor. It wasn’t really a meal that was well-crafted together, in my opinion. The bacon and garlic pork sausage were delicious though! The drinks were not good to me and I had to ask for extra ingredients to make it to my liking.
Great food! Great atmosphere!
Beautiful bar, great bartenders. I don’t know her name but she has long black hair, she was excellent! Helped me build my own old fashioned, I asked for suntori whiskey and she put ginger bitters and orange peel. Came out delicious! Live the vibes, want to go back to try food and build another old fashioned.
We went here for brunch this past Sunday; it was five of us and had made reservations. We were seated within a few minutes. Once we got to our table, our glasses were filled with water and then the wait began. It was probably about 10 minutes before I decided to ask the water girl (didn’t catch her name) if someone was going to take our order. She asked if anyone had been by and I said no-she quickly apologized and returned stating that our waitress Chloe would be by. A couple of minutes later and Chloe came to take our order, she was apologetic for the wait. Our orders went in and then the next wait started. I’m not sure if this is their thing or they were short handed but from seating at 1045am to our food arriving at about 1150am, it was an hour. The food was good; brother in law ordered the empanadas (not pictured) and grits, enjoyed the grits, did not like the empanadas. Sister in law ordered the pancakes (not pictured) and she did like those. We did say we would probably come back for dinner but the wait was an issue.
It took long to get our food and the food was kinda mid I could cook it at home but better the overall atmosphere was anticlimactic and I was disappointed.
Wonderful dinner! Great place
Our waitress Alexis made our experience great super attentive and the coffee rum filet mignon was to die for
