The food here is always 10/10 the rotisserie chicken is always crispy and delicious, and the rice and beans are always hot!! The little onion sauce is DELICIOUS!!! It’s spicy and makes the food super super good! I definitely recommend this place! Also the prices are really really affordable!!

Food is delicious, the service is polite

every time we visit this place ,we received good service from staff, this was 2 years ago....we moved out of state and one of the places that i have to pay a visit was this restaurant, but unfortunate for us the food was awful, and pricey for what we received. we received a burn masitas with a very salty fried rice, my order was the carne mechada and it supossed to come with the side dish, i ask for yellow rice and red beans and i had to return the rice, it was a ball of mashed rice and almost like rice pudding, then i ask for white rice and took few bites and was salty,the red beans were awfully bad and explosive, they charge for the beans separate and i ask the waiter and he didn't like that i ask why they charge if the plate come with it at $28.00 dollars for something unedidable also they were rushing everybody bcs it was close to the end of day, we arrived a 8.45 pm and it takes a bit to eat and get the food to the table. we spend $100.00 for 2 people only a small garafe of white wine + tips separate and it was the worst money that we spend on a restaurant..we were sow disappointed for what we received that day, but maybe they rush o something, but this was our last time there, we used to visit every couple of weeks when we lived in NY.and it was delicious........not anymore for us....

AN OLD FAVORITE!

Amazing food at extremely reasonable prices. Those coladas are regular NYC prices for drinks but they ain't skimping on booze at all. Whew what a meal. Leave fat and happy.

While the food at this establishment is undoubtedly delicious, I was greatly disappointed by the treatment of the staff by the supervisor. Witnessing the supervisor publicly scolding the waiters for a minor mistake, such as providing bread to a table twice, was disheartening and completely unnecessary. This negative experience significantly detracted from an otherwise enjoyable dining experience.
