After a bad first experience we decided to try them 1 more time. We were not impressed at all. Server was rude, no carbonation for drinks, no gouda cheese. We heard we are out of that a lot when ordering. The food came out fast but it was wrong, server just really didn't care. I ordered a pancake but a waffle cake out. Then we find paper in my wife's food. All we heard was sorry about that. Read the recent reviews, this place has gone down hill quickly. We are done trying. We will take our money elsewhere.
Excellent food, excellent breakfast experience. Me and my girlfriend left VERY happy. The million dollar breakfast sandwich might have had a bit too much flavor overload, honestly, but it was still amazing.
84 health score. I enjoyed my meal for the most part, however, the chicken definitely wasn’t “fresh”, it was frozen precooked tyson or something. Secondly, the hostess attitude was horrendous.
Great menu, friendly staff. However, service at this location is exceptionally slow. My online order wasn’t ready until 50 minutes after the expected time, and my experience last time was similar. The hosts were apologetic and professional, but it seems the customer-facing staff significantly lacks support from the kitchen.
Food was good but the potatoes were burnt really bad unedible. Service was slow waited 10 min on refill of tea.
Addition to below: Dear Owner, Instead of posting placating, feigned concern responses to the negative reviews customers post why don't you just fix the issues, ie. hire more staff, retrain your staff, replace the management IF they are the problem. This is the only first watch that I have been to in the Southeast that has these types of issues.
Previous review: Inconsistent is probably the best way to describe it. When I visited a few weeks ago it was very understaffed for the number of customers, but they went out of their way to give good service and the food was great. Someone relayed to me that management likes to keep the facility understaffed to save money. When I arrived yesterday the restaurant was approximately half full of customers. I was seated and then waited for some time before anyone even acknowledged me. I noted that the hostess who is normally a HOSTESS in a restaurant was serving 3 different roles, as hostess, cashier, plus she was in the back working with the food. This is ridiculous. In my humble opinion, you could easily afford to pay more staff with the money you are very likely losing by allowing people to pay with the QR Code, which means they can pretend to pay, walk past the cashier station and right out the door without paying. Crazy!
BTW, the food was sub par this time. The omelette was overcooked and a little dry, the potatoes were cold, and the toast was not properly baked, but it was overtosted and hard and cold. This location needs to greatly increase payroll and work to make the food consistent or you will lose business. Doubtful I will return.
Great customer service from waitstaff. Alana was awesome when ever my beverage needed refilled or I had any questions she was there.😎
Came in last week for breakfast, and was amazed at the service. It was so nice to finally get some good, old-fashioned professional table side courtesy, and Memphis lived up to every expectation. He was very cordial and attentive without being annoying, and his recommendation of the "Banana Crunch" pancakes was right on time. The store was run like a well oiled machine, and although things were busy, I never felt like I was being ignored or that the restaurant was grinding to a halt. Everything run smoother than I have seen in a restaurant in a long time. Will definitely be coming. Congratulations, First Watch: you've just gotten yourself another customer for life. Well done.
First time eating at this First Watch. Food was great. Service was good also.
After waiting 45 minutes and watching six tables sat after us be served, they let us know they lost our order. Ten minutes later they brought our breakfasts cold omelet and my wife's over medium eggs hard fried. Went back again and her eggs were almost raw we left without eating.
