Very nice place, good beer and sandwiche.
It is average or a little above average food not worth the price. Wheelchair accessibility: Has an elevator out front is in rough shape but works.
Wow. Stopped in on our way back home to bham, but will definitely be back. French dip was out of this world. Jalapeño Chesser hush puppies and the succotash were so good! Very cool atmosphere. Very affordable prices for the quality of the food
High quality food! I recommend one of their burgers. You can't go wrong with any item on their menu.
One star for bad experience, but if you're looking for a place to eat, I wouldn't let my review stop you from going. A friend and I were given the wrong orders. So they have 2 burger options. One is the $17 "Wagyu Smash Burger" which is 2 patties and the other is the $14 "Tavern Burger," which you can pay $2.50 extra to get a Wagyu patty on. We both ordered the "Wagyu burger" I don't know if one or both of us specifically said smashburger, but I think my friend did, especially since he specified that he only wanted the cheese and bacon that came on the smashburger, not the aoli and other topping. I also intimated that I wanted what my friend was having, but with all 4 toppings. Well, despite saying at least "Wagyu" for sure, we got the tavern burgers REPLACED with single Wagyu patties. Really disappointing, but neither of us wanted to send food back, of course. Maybe someone was having a bad day or management isn't on top of having their employees understand the menu. Additionally, the burger was not medium rare. I am no foodie, but if the burger was even Wagyu, it wasn't better than a "normal" burger.
I couldn’t believe how bad the food was. We could have went to Hennens for the price we paid. Applebees literally has better food than them. Just shocked. Brussel sprouts were the only good thing we had. They must be paying for reviews or something.
Had fried catfish dinner. Good but not great. Parking: On some days we don't eat here do to limited parking.
