It's a small quick hot pot place. We've been here a few times. Selections is a bit small but it has the essentials. It's like Mongolian bbq style where you grab a bowl, put what you want in it, and they weigh it for the price. It's easy to add too much. So less is more. The tomato soup toy is a bit too salty for my taste. So I usually get the fish based soup. It's a nice hot pot place if you're in the area.
Had a great experience here, the food is delicious, the service is great, and the owner is fantastic. He put a bib on my husband when he noticed he kept spilling on himself something we always joke about at home. They also gave us all a free homemade drink with refills. Just overall really nice place and people.
It’s literally the best Malatang 麻辣烫 in town, so authentic Chinese flavor, tastes just like home.
Really good food and healthy authentic hotpot
Recently tried the hotpot at Fast Hotpot in The District Tustin, and it was a delightful first experience! I must say, when the Japanese label something as spicy, they truly mean it. The flavors were robust, and it was fiery in the best possible way. If you're in the mood for an authentic taste adventure, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommend!
Spent close to $100 for 2 people. They charge by the pound, and do not provide a scale until you check out. There was 1 or 2 flies in the restaurant. It's not worth the money and this fast hot pot took 30 minutes to give us our food. I could have done all you can eat for half the price.
This is by far the best build your own hot pot place I’ve tried. The variety of ingredients is top tier, the soup base options are nice and flavorful, and the owner is really nice. Each time we’ve come he’s offered either free coconut jelly or free drink special. The food is at least 10x better than other malatang / by weight hot pot places nearby (like zhangliang and show hot pot). Highly recommend the tomato and tom yum bases.
