Famous Original J's Pizza

Very tasty pizza slices, ready within a few minutes. My favorite is the margherita. My only complaint is delivery being $8/cost on top of the food cost and tip. It's best to just walk up and get a slice.

I've been eating their pizza for years. Consistent and delicious. Would 10/10 grab a slice and have a beer from 715.

Walk up pizzeria by the slice. Ny style huge slices with a crispy crust. Plenty of toppings. Reasonable price for downtown

Definitely not a NY slice. Good enough to satisfy my pizza craving for a day, but for $4 a slice? Not super worth it. I’ve had better dollar slices back in Brooklyn. The taste was lacking in my honest opinion. (From a NYer)

Updated review: new employees are so sweet, and the slices are always great! They give my dog a pepperoni when we come by too The only thing that could make it better would be if they add a lil sprinkle of cheese on top to hold everything together when someone adds toppings to a slice :) Kid-friendliness: Kid and pet friendly during the day. Insanely delicious pizza. Some of the very best pizza in Denver? In the state? In the middle of the country? The grandma style is heavy and satisfying. The mailman hyped up Famous J’s in passing, agreeing it’s the best pizza in Denver.

In the past it was great but recently quality control is lacking. Ordered garlic pizza a few weeks ago and got lbs of garlic. Ok my fault I did ask for garlic. Tried again today with just a plain pie. Got dried out cardboard. Super thin, barely anything there. Eric, my card ended in 0737. Thanks!

HANDS DOWN THE WORST PIZZA IVE EVER HAD. Not only was it undercooked and still took 30 minutes to make but, there were no plates, napkins or red pepper/ parmigiano. I was told it would be $25 for a pizza, I was charged $50 for a single pizza with 4 toppings. There is no indoor area. You have to wait outside whether it's wind, rain, snow, sleet, or hail. Several employees standing around doing nothing with 5 customers standing outside waiting paitently in the snow. I will never purchase from this establishment again. I hate leaving bad reviews but this place literally and metaphorically left a bad taste in my mouth. I was just trying to feed artists and employees (that I don't even know) because we were vending at Cervantes and were starving. This placed sucked bootyhole. Kid-friendliness: Absolutely not. There is no reason to bring a child here. Save your money and time and go elsewhere. Your kid won't know the difference between Domino's and this place (cause there is none) but your wallet will. Ni indoor seating and poor service. You'd need to put your kid down for a nap before they got you your food. Wheelchair accessibility: Walk up window only. I wouldn't recommend it. There's no handicap parking in the area, all of the parking is paid parking and very limited. The food's not great either so why waste your time and effort.

Girl working the orders tonight 12/15/23 messed up my order twice then accused me of lying. WTH kind of customer service is that?! Forgets my garlic knots then gives me cheese instead of pepperoni. It's not like I ate any and I immediately returned it. Proceeds to blame me. I hate tipping beforehand for this exact reason. You deserve nothing. I want my tip back. You absolutely do not deserve it, young lady. Shame on you and you'll never see a dime from me again. Scumbags. Edit: You said the same thing last time and never refunded the money. It's just another generic response for damage control. Y'all are trash.
