Famous Market Deli

They had a store on Lions road and it closed and reopen ( Famous Deli in Delray Beach. Bigger store, great lox and other smoked fish , butcher , vegetables, wines and frozen foods.

Good products, but on the expensive side. The employees I encountered were not friendly, and the cashier showed no sign of appreciation. BTW, they charge extra if you use a charge card.

One of the best places in Palm Beach County to get Kosher/Jewish foods.

I am very happy about living near to this deli and general grocery store. Their home made salads and kosher/non-kosher foods are excellent. Their precooked chickens, turkey legs, fried chicken breasts and low salt breaded eggplant slices are truly delicious and easy to reheat. Yesterday, I stacked 4 breaded and fully cooked eggplant slices into a small roasting ceramic dish with layered unsalted tomato sauce and grated cheese...and it was far more delicious (and much less salted) than what you would get from an Italian restaurant. Cooked at 400° for 25 minutes. Total cost about $6 and is enough for 2 adults.

Parking: It's a store with specialty items. Many kosher items and take out Deli.
