Meskie's Ethiopia Restaurant

The food was decent but the server gave me a glass of water which had lipstick marks on it at the rim and had clearly been used by someone. The restaurant only had 2 tables occupied, and with less work, the server was sitting at her desk with earphones on, so clearly this wasn’t a mistake because she had too much to handle, but it was pure carelessness. I had to walk to the back of the restaurant and ask for a new glass because the server didn’t come even once to check on us after we had been served.

Fun and unusual place to eat. Great place to visit for some authentic cuisine!

I am surprised more people aren't more excited about this restaurant. I found every item SO delicious. I had been to another Ethiopian restaurant nearby and to me this place, Meskies, was so much more delicious. Dietary restrictions: They have injera made from only imported teff as an option, which is gluten-free. It costs extra.

This is literally my favorite food. The staff is fabulous, the food is transcendent, the atmosphere is chill, what else could anyone want? Seriously the food is to die for; I despise driving this direction and I happily make the trek when I know I’ll be coming here. It’s the best restaurant I’ve been to in so long. Just fantastic.

Neighborhood restaurant; solid family owned and operated dining. Dishes were very good and were about the same as other Ethiopian restaurants.

The food was great and I had a great experience over all. I enjoyed the platters w/ the varieties of the meats, starches, and greens to eat with the injera bread of course. The Ethiopian honey wine (Tej) was the best wine I've ever had. Definitely a hidden gem i'll be back at. Good customer service. Thank you ladies (:

The food is wonderful (my friends just kept repeating "Wow"). The outside seating area is cozy cute ! Atkilt We't (String Beans & carrots) is probably my favorite out of the vegetarian dishes. Not pictured but there was a basket of injera separate from the one laid under the entree :) !
