El Pitayo Mexican Kitchen

Incredible food. We went on a Sunday, so it was busy, but it was worth the wait. We wish we could have brought it back to Oklahoma with us.

The steak in my quesadilla was tough. Grease dripped out. It is probably the worst quesadilla I have ever had. My friend's enchiladas were bad also. We did not eat even a third of our $35 meal. We will not go back. The chips and salsa were lacking in flavor, also.

I like this place alot

Worst service ever!!! We stood at the door for 10 minutes just to finally be told to pick a seat. Then took another 10 just to get a menu. Then no one ever came back. While reviewing the extremely basic out dated menu, we noticed how much they were charging for certain items. Insane prices, no chips and salsa like you would normally see at a good Mexican restaurant. Last but not least was the insane ceiling with shooty unistrut welded to c channel with orange poly foam sprayed everywhere. Right above where you’re eating. Service- terrible Food- basic, out dated and over priced Atmosphere- construction site/ sweat shop with uncomfortably large odd shaped tables

Good Mexican food

Unfortunately I returned to El Pitayo today and found the visit wanting. I come from a background in customer service and never understood why a business like this with so much potential doesn't monitor their employees service and attitude. The young man who waited on us for the majority of time was trying and for the most part did well considering it was obvious he didn't have any training. The waitress who was occasionally helping him and as I understand, has been there for a while, has the worst customer service skills a waiter can have. SMH! The owners need to follow up more often or atleast worry about their business. Coffee was Luke warm and food was cold. Unfortunately I won't be returning anytime soon...
