El Manantial Tacos

Love this place!! Such a neighborhood gem. Reasonable prices, super quick service, and consistently delicious burritos and tacos. This place has become one of my top Mexican food places in oakland/berkeley!

i got a burrito one of the best in the world, edit. came here again service improved even better, really quick place and affordable compared to areas around it. they offer an astonishing view in their area with comfortability and homey feelings. i really recommend everyone to come to this spot. i talked to the owner hes a lovely gentlemen and is willing to help out anyone in the area that is struggling with money. such a humble and honest service to the community. 10/10

Fantastic tacos in a small truck in a nondescript gas station. Don't let the size of the truck and the location fool you. You get one of the tastiest tacos anywhere. I had vegetarian ones, tasted delicious and neatly packed with spicy salsa. Reasonably priced, too!

Sitting at the park bench at a smog shop on San Pablo, THIS is the gritty, urban, off- Gourmet Gulch affordable and lovingly made $3 taco experience you need to break out of the bubble. Slow simmered marinated chicken with a dollop of grilled onions, cut-up radishes what's not to like? Go there late enough for free side show entertainment! This place is great. Some of the best burritos in Berkeley, and I can't get over the pastor super quesadilla. Staff are super nice, and they work fast too. Always worth it if I'm getting lunch down here.

Los mejores tacos gracias

Just had a lengua taco here - came out super fast with a big slice of lime and nice portion of cooked onion and jalapeño. Terrific food and reasonably priced. Places like this make me love living in the East Bay. El Manantial means the spring or source in Spanish and this place really is a source for some good food.

The best taco truck in Berkeley and it rivals ANY other anywhere. The most flavorful meats, properly prepared and quickly served. Fresh and ample sized vegetarian items as well. I get my dog a plain taco each time and they remember that order too! Tables and chairs for waiting and eating and plenty of nearby parking. Friendly folks behind the counter and in the line. Credit cards accepted. It's parked on the SMOG testing lot, 1 block from Ashby Ave. Vegetarian options: Standard fare but higher quality and bigger portions than most other places Kid-friendliness: Plenty of room, as long as you can keep them from running into the street Wheelchair accessibility: Outside, just roll on up!
