It was a nice vibe. Plate was delicious I had a great time. I always hear great things about it so I’m glad I finally made it out.
The price of cocktails does not appear on the menu. The worst margarita I’ve ever tasted, it tasted artificial. The flavors of the tacos are poorly balanced. The place smells old.
I'm sorry but I don't know what the hype is about this place. The food is bland and basic. The ambiance of the place is cute but it's too dark for me personally. My friend and I went to grab dinner and catch up and while there, we just felt like we were being rushed to order and at the end we were rushed to get out. Which annoyed me is when we finished our food, the waiter brings our check which we paid and we continued to chat. The waiter comes and asks if we needed anything else a few times and finally comes and asks if we needed more water which we answered no and just takes our cups away. If it was busy, I'd understand but it would slow and not very many people were there dining in.
Honestly cannot say enough about how amazing our experience was at this restaurant. I highly recommend eating here if you are in Hollywood.
Step into a realm where Mexican cuisine transcends expectations. This joint isn't just about tacos and tequila—it's about elevating Mexican food to an art form. Picture this: nestled in a romantic red booth, surrounded by the tantalizing aroma of sizzling spices. And on weekends? Live music sets the mood just right. But the real star? Those spicy flaming margaritas, a fiery concoction that'll set your taste buds ablaze in the most delightful way. From the first bite to the last sip, it's a culinary journey you won't soon forget. Welcome to a fiesta of flavors and a symphony of sensations.
Tortilla soup was good.Pork carnitas were tender and flavorful. Mashed beans good. Mexican rice was bland. Corn tortillas that came with carnitas were not good. Enchiladas with salsa roja was bland, the salsa roja sauce on them was watery and not tasty at all, not authentic. My son got a plate with a chicken enchilada roja, beef taco and steak. His steak was good and seasoned well, very tender, but it had a very chewy fat part on it . He didn't eat the enchilada. Chips and salsa was good. Chips were warm and crispy. Salsa not to spicy my kids were able to eat it. Portions are big. We couldn't finish our meals. If you are not a big eater you can share a plate. Waiters very good, attentive and friendly. The restaurant is dark inside. It's dated. looks like a mom and pop mexican restaurant but I'm sure that's part of the charm to it.
Great food but really not a family restaurant. It's very loud and there is really no place to wait for a table. I am rating the service as poor since we didn't get part of the food we ordered. Also, we were told that the dish wasn't spicy but it turned out to be spicy anyway.
