Coming from California, this is the closest thing to Californian Mexican food we've found. It was all good, and we will definitely be back! We went a little after 2pm on a Sunday and there was no wait.
Mexican food mediocrity at best. I’m not tryna be a Karen but the order taker/server/host could not communicate with me at all. First they said they don’t have beans and they were out of tacos… I basically pointed to pictures and grunted my order. I worked harder to order than they did to take the order. Also - since when does the taco plate not come with rice and beans? Last time I was here was May 2023 and I live directly across the street. Actually the last time I was here was today…
JARAH WAS GREAT. We had a blasts the pork belly tacos were to die for listen to her recommendations
Food was not good. No seasoning at all. Very small portions for carne asada. 3 small tortillas 3 -4 inch disc. It was not worth 20.99. Sour cream cup about 1 tablespoon. Rice not even 8 oz or half a cup. Beans and rice 2 tablespoons. I am measuring in tablespoons not cups. This dish is a no.
Solid spot. I used to be a hater but recently attended an event and it changed my opinion and have now been back a few times. Salsa is solid; chips are a little thicker, I prefer more cantina, thinner style. Pollo loco is delicious as are the quesadillas, but the Texas fajita quesadilla can be a bit greasy (but is usually worth it). Staff is alway friendly. Would love to see more wine options, but I know that’s atypical in this setting.
