Very cool bar with live music, great drinks. During busy hours the staff is always busy and your order/request may take longer, but they’re always friendly!
Dutch Kills is a Long Island City classic. The cocktails have always been creative and fairly priced (I had the Basquiat and the Chuparosa). I like sitting at the bar and admiring the memorabilia on the walls and ceiling. Service was a bit slow, and the bar was not even full when I was there. Nonetheless, the drinks are awesome, will definitely come again.
No food options. Just mixed nuts.
The best bar I have been to! Perfect drinks (especially the ice!) Amazing staff, great atmosphere and excellent food. Highly recommend. Would visit anytime
This review is based off of my first visit. I just discovered this establishment this weekend. First impression: sophisticated goth. My friend recommended this place for the strong, unique cocktails. When we arrived, Sisters of Mercy was playing and I was instantly drawn to the dark inviting atmosphere. The host was welcoming yet very thorough in checking our IDs. My two friends and I were seated in a cozy booth and each was given some refreshing lemon water with cucumber. We were given the option to be seated in a booth or hang out at the bar. On a Saturday night, there were A LOT of people at the bar so I'm glad we stayed in the booth. We also had the benefit of having someone check in on us throughout the night to keep the drinks flowing. He was pretty chill and attentive without rushing or pressuring us to order right away. Made sure we gave him a great tip for his awesome service. We were there for about 4 hours and ordered about 3 fancy drinks each. Highly recommend this place for a low key date night or intimate hang out with a small group. Drinks recommended: chilled coffee (made with rum, absinthe & cold brew) Vegetarian options: Bar snacks include mixed nuts for $5
