Dos Caminos

We got here Saturday night at 6:30 the place was half empty and after we waited at least 15 minutes and still no one came to our table, we finally got up and left. Menu is not allergen friendly at all. Wonder why there was a "C" health rating on the door.

Good food, very busy. Great frozen drinks.

Comida muy rica y muy buena atención. La relación calidad/precio es muy adecuada: la comida es de calidad, la presentación de los platos es muy buena y el precio es adecuado si tomamos en cuenta el barrio donde está ubicado. Lo único que tengo para remarcar es que hubiese deseado que la música hubiese estado un poco más baja. Y, por otro lado, no me pareció apropiado que la camarera fuese insistente con la cantidad de propina que teníamos que dejarle. Si bien hay una costumbre arregaida en todo NY con respecto a la propina, este fue el único lugar donde me dijeron explícitamente cuánta propina tenía que dejar antes de irme. Sería bueno que el dueño de "Dos Caminos" le pague un mejor salario a sus empleados en lugar de exigirles que los clientes deben suplir su falta de salario a cambio de propinas.

The actual servers are great but if you come for happy hour beware that the front desk will attempt to seat you in the restaurant where the HAPPY HOUR DOES NOT APPLY. I complained and the manager refunded me $16 on a $120 bill so they did attempt to rectify but still a frustrating end to an otherwise great dining experience.

Arrogant young waitress telling us twice in 3 minutes you have 90 minutes to seat here and dine . This place turned from nice casual Mexican restaurant into loud disco place !! Came to table and turned back to exit after second reminder “ you have 90 minutes “ Bad !!!

Yesterday afternoon I stopped by to eat at this place, because I already know their food because I've stopped by to eat at their location in Times Square, so I decided to stop by since I arrived at the place and they looked at me like, what do you want here? bad vibe after that they gave me a table upstairs on the second floor I sat down and the waiter who served me was not polite at all not friendly, when he started talking to me in English I answered him in Spanish since I saw that he was Hispanic and I communicate more in Spanish than English and nothing, he didn't answer me in Spanish to which I said ok I will speak my English, and there were people around me who spoke Spanish ok. It took him about 10-15 minutes to take the order. Afterwards, with his arrogance and arrogance, he asked me what I wanted to order. I told him he didn't answer anything. It was all arrogance. Ah, cat, the menu and he left. He never came back to ask if I needed something or if I wanted something else. Nothing. He was just passing by my table. I felt very uncomfortable, it's ugly to be like that or to be looked at like a weirdo just because the place is in an area of ​​rich people and I wasn't dressed in designer clothes or expensive clothes but if I have money to pay that's what It matters because a restaurant is not defined by the location in which it is located but rather by the attention of its employees and the friendliness ok REGARDING THE FOOD WAS VERY UGLY I ORDERED SOME ENCHILADAS SUIZAS WHICH LOOKED TOAST THE TORTILLA ALL BROWN WITHOUT VERY FLAVOR INSIPID SALSA, today I was disappointed and I hope they change their attitude towards people who don't treat them badly because of their appearance or the way they dress.
